There, I've finally pushed east from where I was in May 2024 to where I was in November of that year. A small bit of consolation, but I'm not two years behind anymore... I'm just 20 months. Hah!
Took more than two weeks to put this together; spending time doing other projects but I've been doing little bits and pieces here. Plus, any map where I span two sheets always has it's duplication problems; those are heightened a bit by my doing much larger segments, in this case, 21 twenty-mile hexes at a go.
This part of southeastern Poland still has some dense areas around Lublin, but the green is more than evident. Population and infrastructure are going to drop off steadily as I move east... which, of course, makes each map easier to make. Overall, with this countryside being flat, covered with rivers, a so-so density in population, something of a political backwater, it's not a place where normally people would want to set a campaign. It is just one large forest-farmland mixed country district, slowly crumbling into corruption and peasant exploitation. Nothing to see here as I go forward.
I'm going to be working on a section of 23 hexes as a group to get me over the next map sheet joining; when making sections this big, there's no way to avoid that. So, it'll take as long as it take.
